Thank you to the ladies from Altrusa for reading to our kindergarten classes today and providing each student with a free book!

Thank you to Janelle and Brenden from the Westbrook Fire Department for speaking with our students about fire response and prevention.

Last week, we held our first whole-school assembly to recognize the third and fourth grade Rising Stars and Rockstars for the month of September. We also awarded Ms. Clinch's and Ms. O'Neil's classes Golden Trays for Safe, Ready, and Respectful cafeteria behavior.

Congratulations to all of the Shining Stars who were recognized!

The Saccarappa School Garden Club won another blue ribbon this year at the Cumberland County Fair! Congratulations to the Garden Club students and advisors.

Saccarappa School families are invited to Saccarappa for a community meal on Thursday, October 15th, from 5-6 p.m., provided by the Westbrook Nutrition Department. The meal will highlight our Farm to School and Halal offerings.

We will also participate in the Beautiful Blackbird Children's Book Festival with read-alouds. activities, and a book distribution.

In addition to food and books, various community partners will be present to distribute information about how their organization can support your family.

We hope to see you there!

It's been a successful year! Thank you to the PTO for supporting our students, staff, and school.

And that's a wrap! After a week of reflection and celebrations, we say goodbye to our Shining Stars as they head into summer break. Thank you to all of the volunteers, staff, and families who made our end-of-year activities such a success. Happy summer, everyone!

Yearbook orders are due Friday! There are two options for ordering. You can place your orders online for $14 (credit cards accepted) or through the front office for $12 (cash or check only). See the flyer below to order online. Fourth Grade students will be gifted a yearbook from the PTO and DO NOT need to place an order.
