Thank you to Westbrook's Firefighter Luke and Firefighter Phil for speaking with the students this week about ways to prevent and respond to fires in the home.


All students and staff are invited to wear pajamas or other comfy clothes on Friday, October 31st.

Fall family-teacher conferences are scheduled for November 6th and 18th. Guardians will be invited to sign up for a conference via Reach My Teach. Our goal is always 100% parent participation, so sign up today! Contact your child's classroom teacher if you have any questions.

The Star Party scheduled for tomorrow night at WMS is being rescheduled due to cloud coverage and wet fields. The new date will be December 11th, at the same time and location.

Thank you to Greater Portland Health for their ongoing partnership. This is the seventh time our conference room as been turned into a dental clinic, and this time alone we had 123 students seen. THANK YOU to Nurse Maria for organizing this event. Keep smiling, Shining Stars!

Westbrook School Nutrition is hosting a free Community Meal on October 15th from 5-6 p.m. at Westbrook Middle School. All Westbrook families are invited to attend.

Pie orders are due TOMORROW! Be sure to send in all order forms and money with your child by Friday, October 3rd. Pie pick-up will be on November 6th from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. Thank you for supporting this fundraiser!

Lots of smiles and early morning energy at Saccarappa's Weather At Your School this morning. Thank you to all the students who participated and parents who woke up early to get them there.



WMTW Channel 8 will be at Saccarappa, broadcasting live, during the early morning hours on Wednesday, October 1st. Watch or participate! Students will have the opportunity to be on TV every 10 minutes from 5:50 to 6:50 a.m. Parents are responsible for their children throughout the broadcast, and the school will not be open for drop-off until our regular arrival time. Hope to see you there!

Explore the Stars! The Star Party will take place at 7 PM on Wednesday, October 22nd, at the Westbrook Middle School Field. We will have hot cocoa and binoculars available at the event; however, students are welcome to bring their own binoculars if they prefer. This event is open to all Westbrook families. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
