It's Bus Driver Appreciation week! Today our PTO celebrated our bus drivers by delivering treats to them, and we will be providing them with goodies throughout the week! Don't forget to thank our bus drivers for all that they do to keep our students safe!
Mrs. Morowski’s class talked about what it means to be a good friend. They read a wonderful story about true friendship called, “Bad Apple.” They made a craft of the main characters to help them retell the story to their families! Nice job, cougars!
The rain didn’t stop these Congin Cougars from waking up early for Weather At Your School with Ted McInerney from WMTW. Thank you to Willow's Mobile Coffee Café for the donated treats and The Daily Grind for the donated hot chocolate for students!

It's AAC Awareness Month! AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and we have students who use various communication resources at Congin. Check out this bulletin board celebrating our different ways of communicating that our speech pathologists Vicki Waxman and Nicole DeRoche have created!

Mrs. Dudley's 1st grade class earned all of the 20 points for being responsible, respectful and kind, and they were able to celebrate with a Pajama and Stuffy Day!
Check out Mrs. Rounds’s fourth grade cougars! This week they talked about different types of energy and how they work in our world. To explore solar energy, the students worked on a hands-on project using boxes, foil, and plastic wrap to create their own solar ovens. They were excited to see how the sun’s energy could be harnessed to heat up and melt chocolate and marshmallows—and, of course, they enjoyed the reward of making and eating s’mores!

We start our Congin Cougar day each morning with morning announcements! Mr. Bisson has one student join him, and the morning announcements are broadcasted in each classroom.
