Today's 'Throwback Thursday' features Automotive Technology! It has been quiet around the main office this summer - we actually miss all the sounds that come from the Auto shop! Students get real life experience as they work on real customer vehicles. We look forward to having everyone back in the building soon!

Today's 'Throwback Thursday' features our Business Program. Students were proud of creating a student cafe, Brew 'N Business. Students and staff enjoyed the beverages and snacks prepared by our Culinary students!

Today's 'Throwback Thursday' features Computer Science! Students! WRVC students traveled to UMaine in Orono to meet with a student and professor to learn more about UMaine's Computer Science Program. They had hands on experiences and had a great day!

This year the computer science program is shifting into App Coding and Game Design! We are excited to see what is in store! We have some open spots if you are interested, please reach out to your school counselor.

Today's 'Throwback Thursday' reminds us of how much we need to enjoy the summer! The nursery school students got to get out sledding this winter and had a blast! Thanks to HEO for creating the sliding hill and the Educational Pathways students for building this into your plans!

Today's 'Throwback Thursday' features Heavy Equipment Operations.
Students in this program showed their sense of humor when they showed up dressed like their instructor, Mr. Henry! They learn how to operate and care for this equipment and learn how to do so safely.

There are still a couple of spots available for this program! If you know a student who will be a junior in the fall, who loves working outside in all kinds of weather and wants to learn how to operate heavy equipment, reach out to their school counselor and see about applying!

Today's 'Throwback Thursday' features Cosmetology! Towards the end of the year our Tech II students provided treatments to the Tech I students. This was a great day for all! Tech II students got to utilize their skills and the Tech I students were pampered while also getting to see how far they will progress by the time they finish their second year!

Today's 'Throwback Thursday' features Medical Occupations! Our medical occupation students are trained in so many areas! On this day they were working on dissections! This is one example of how students can earn integrated credits at WRVC. Students in our Medical Occupations Program can earn integrated credits for Science, Math and English!

Today's 'Throwback Thursday, in honor of the 4th of July, features our First Responder Programs, EMT, Fire Fighting and Criminal Justice.

From learning how to properly load patients into the ambulance and working as a team to put the firehose away, to volunteering at Wreaths Across America and presenting the flags as part of the color guard at our end of the year ceremony, these students learned a lot and supported our communities along the way!

Today's 'Throwback Thursday' is the MRE Challenge! The National Guard worked with Culinary Arts students to have our students create the best meal possible. using ingredients from MREs as the base! (MRE - Meals Ready to Eat) The students used a lot of creativity and thought outside of the box!
