One of the best parts of working at WRVC is seeing our graduates come back to share what they’re doing next. From healthcare and public safety to the skilled trades, our alumni continue to put their WRVC experience to work in their communities and beyond!
Reed Gilbert | Public Safety
Reed Gilbert, a graduate of our Public Safety program with (retired teacher) Officer Roubo, recently stopped by WRVC while checking Knox boxes at schools throughout the district. Reed has been with Westbrook Fire Rescue for seven years and is also a paramedic.
While here, Reed caught up with Lt. Brooks and our Firefighting/EMT program and shared that his time at WRVC was “phenomenal.” When talking about Officer Roubo, Reed said, “He was the best teacher I ever had going through school, and I certainly would not be doing any of this without him and this school.”
We’re so proud to see Reed serving his community and building a career in public safety!
Timothy Lee | Electricity, 2025
Timothy Lee, a 2025 graduate of our Electricity program, recently stopped by to visit his former teacher, Mr. Clark, and share an exciting update. Timmy recently started working for DuBois Electric, Inc., where he is doing rough-in lighting and outlets for a soon-to-be high-end law firm in Portland.
Timmy is putting the skills he gained at WRVC to work in the electrical trade and already taking on exciting projects. And, in true Timmy fashion, he didn’t come empty-handed. He also brought our main office team a gorgeous bouquet of flowers! 💐
Thanks for stopping by, Timmy. We loved catching up and hearing about all you’re accomplishing, and the flowers were very touching!
Once a WRVC student, always part of the WRVC family!
We love hearing from our alumni and seeing the many different paths they take after graduation. Whether they are continuing their education, launching a career, serving their community, or simply stopping by to say hello, their success is something our entire WRVC family can celebrate.
Keep coming back, graduates. We love seeing where your WRVC journey takes you!
