Westbrook High School

Last Tuesday at the Westbrook All City Band concert, two special guests were in attendance. The Maine Band Directors Association President and a board member from the Maine Music Education Association were on hand to surprise our very own Kyle Smith by presenting him with the Maine Music Educator of the Year Award. The Westbrook Middle School bands performed their pieces brilliantly. Then, just before the WHS portion of the show began, the presentation was made. With over 1,200 people in attendance, it was a fitting tribute to a very deserving recipient. Congratulations, Mr. Smith!
