Good Morning Congin Cougar Families,
Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! I don't know about all of you, but February seems to be flying by, especially in comparison to January. Here are some updates for this week:
It's Wednesday, so students will be dismissed starting at 2:30 today!
Our FLS classrooms will be going to the Museum of Science today to see a production of Pete the Cat!
We are continuing our work with Healthy Hearts for the month of February. Students are encouraged to be active and healthy during these winter months by playing outside, trying new foods, or following home routines. Please feel free to provide students with hearts, especially during February break to promote wellness!
Valentine's Day and the 100th Day of School (if we don't have a snow day Thursday) will be taking place on Friday! I know many teachers have some fun activities planned.
Spring Picture Day will be taking place on 3/7. Order forms will be sent home this afternoon if you are interested in purchasing any Spring pictures. Just a reminder that we
will not
be accepting cash purchases. You will need to order online or provide a check.
Girls on the Run registrations are up and running for any 3rd or 4th grade girl who is interested in participating!
Just a reminder that we will be on February break from 2/17-2/21. We will return to school on 2/24. Our school and office will be closed during this time.
Our PTO will be putting on a Glow Dance on Saturday, March 1st from 1pm-3pm. Come enjoy some music and fun activities in our Congin gym!
