At Congin, we follow the BARR model, which stands for Building Assets, Reducing Risk. Through the BARR process, teachers provide an SEL lesson each week called U-Times. Check out Mrs. Pecoraro's fourth grade class participating in a U-Time called Circles of Support. In this particular activity, students identify different people in their lives who care and support them. Additionally, BARR allows us to collect data to ensure that all students thrive, inside and outside of the classroom.
