Adele is a Portland student that chose to support Canal newcomers for a year long community service project. She fundraised and presented to different groups about newcomers to Maine all year long. In considering the experiences and various situations of our newcomers, she used the funds to take something she loves, being creative, and made 50 craft boxes to spread joy to our newcomer families.
