Westbrook School Department

A new bench has been installed on the Congin School playground. It's a "Buddy Bench," and is already a popular spot on the playground. The Buddy Bench is a place where students can sit when they are looking for new friends to play with.  Students are learning how to recognize when people are feeling lonely and how to invite them to play. The whole school has also been working on making new friends, learning  people's names, and communication skills. What great ways to build community and brighten people's day! Thank you to the Congin PTO for purchasing the Buddy Bench for our students!
