Meet Saccarappa's New Assistant Principal!
It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new Saccarappa Assistant Principal. I am thrilled to be partnering with Principal Alexis Jones and the Saccarappa Staff in facilitating the learning and growing of both staff and students.
A return to the Westbrook School District is special for me as I began my educational career at Prides Corner Elementary as a Speech & Language Therapist. In this position for ten years, I enjoyed working as a special education support provider K-12. One of my fondest memories is the investment families had in their neighborhood schools. I am happy to learn that Saccarappa continues with the community connection and family traditions as well.
Since departing Westbrook 23 years ago, I have been in the role of PK- 5 principal in the South Portland School Department. I LOVE and believe in public education, and am looking forward to working with you all in growing young brains and hearts.
When not digging into education, I am digging into my flower and vegetable gardens. I was excited to dig into Saccarappa 's greening projects. I also enjoy going to the beach and reading. I love book recommendations, so if you have any, please share!
